YOKOHAMA

Yokohama- największy port morski i jeden z większych ośrodków przemysłowych Japonii. Południowo-wschodnia część wyspy Honsiu, w pobliżu ujścia do morza rzeki Tsurumi- całą nadmorską część centrum zajmują nabrzeża portowe. Ja zapamiętam przede wszystkim największe na świecie Chinatown z "BUNS"- bułkami na parze- zdrową alternatywę dla hamburgerów:)

Yokohama has all the best of Tokyo (high tech city life) without the worst of Tokyo (overcrowded and smoggy streets). Yokohama has something for everyone.

Yokohama is Japan's 3rd largest city, after Tokyo and Osaka. As the major port on Tokyo Bay, it ships Japanese made goods worldwide. Yokohama is also where Commodore Perry and his fleet landed in the mid-19th century to end Japan's isolation. For me the most noteworthy is Yokohama's Chinatown- the largest of the top world's Chinatowns. Crowded with tourists from all over Japan and the world. Over 200 restaurants, colorful temple Kantei-byo, thousand of shops. And besides the atmosphere, unique trademark food- alternative for all the go hamburgers- STEAMED BUNS! Filled with umpteen of different filler. Delicious healthy meal not only for body but also for soul. Additional yummy are roastered chestnuts, found on every corner in circular roaster and bagging up straigh into people hands. Nutty, slightly sweet, soft taste. In conclusion- Yokohama land of pleasure for palate:)
